Our Story

1994
THE BEGINNING OF A SUCCESSCustom Staffing, Inc (CSI) is born in Maitland, FL and quickly expands into Orlando and Tampa, FL markets.
1996
THE BEGINNING OF A SUCCESSCustom Staffing Inc. opens a new office in Jacksonville, FL.
2003
THE BEGINNING OF A SUCCESSCSI Search opens its doors, offering executive-level search and high-level contract staffing in the banking, accounting, and finance verticals.
2005
NEW FOCUSCustom Staffing, Inc. names Jacksonville its corporate headquarters in addition to opening an office in Charlotte, NC.
2006
NEW FOCUSCSI expands into Dallas, TX and launches CSI Tech to focus on the tech staffing needs of existing clients.
2007
NEW FOCUSCustom Staffing Inc. officially changes its name to The CSI Companies with three distinct brands: CSI Professional, CSI Search, and CSI Tech and expands into Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Nashville, TN markets.
2008
NEW FOCUSCSI hits $50M in sales in the midst of recognizing the trend toward Electronic Medical Records in the healthcare industry and establishes a sales team to pursue the opportunity.
2009
NEW FOCUSCSI creates CSI Healthcare IT division to focus on growing EMR and hospital technology industry.
2010
FRESH LEADERSHIPCSI is purchased by Japan-based Recruit Global Staffing (now RGF Staffing), one of the world’s largest providers of HR services, as CSI revenue eclipses $79M.
2011
FRESH LEADERSHIPRafe Sanson named Chief Executive Officer while CSI hits $100M in sales.
2013
FRESH LEADERSHIPChris Flakus appointed to Chief Operating Officer and CSI acquires Atlanta IT staffing firm, Anteo Group.

TRANSFORMATIONCSI Financial division now headquartered and staffing in Jacksonville along with the launch of “CSI Gives Back” – a organization focused on raising money for local charities.

TRANSFORMATIONA year of big changes: James Chiang named Chief Financial Officer. CSI Healthcare IT and CSI Tech divisions reveal new logos and refreshed brand identities. CSI's Atlanta-based IT staffing firm, Anteo Group, announces its official transition to CSI Tech.

Strategic Collaboration Drives Seamless Go-Live for Major Health System 

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. August 19, 2025 — CSI recently completed a successful Epic go-live in partnership with a medium sized health system in the United States. This engagement brought together CSI’s Training and Activation teams to deliver fully integrated support across the organization’s enterprise-wide implementation. The engagement began in late November 2024 with the deployment of 16 Credentialed Trainers who remained onsite through March 2025.
