As Chief Executive Officer, Chris brings more than 25 years of staffing industry experience to CSI. In 1998 he founded Merit Consulting, an executive placement company still in existence today. Flakus joined CSI in 2003 when it was a $12M staffing company.
Under Flakus’ leadership, CSI enjoyed double-digit growth year-over-year including opening new offices in Nashville, Charlotte, Dallas and Ft. Lauderdale. Flakus has successfully started up two new divisions, most recently CSI Financial. In 2010, together with Rafe Sanson, he helped facilitate the acquisition of CSI by Japanese recruiting firm RGF Staffing (formerly Recruit Staffing), a part of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.
In 2013 Flakus was named Chief Operating Officer, and oversaw the company’s sales growth from $126M to almost $250M including over 100% growth in the HCIT division. By focusing on building culture, Flakus has increased productivity, improved employee retention rates. Chris is a graduate of the University of North Florida.
With over 15+ years of financial oversight experience, Josh Bowling is an integral part in CSI’s growth and success both present and future.
Josh joined CSI in October 2020, and under his leadership, he has enhanced internal controls and developed more efficient processes which helped to expedite growth and increase profitability. Prior to CSI, he spent 10 years at Regency Centers where he most recently held the position of Senior Manager of Joint Venture Reporting. Over the course of his career, he has served in various financial and accounting capacities and has valuable experience in financial oversight and reporting practices.
Melissa Fulmore-Hardwick has dedicated her more than 20-year career to merging innovative technology solutions with collaboration-based leadership.
Her industry experience has spanned financial, retail and manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, aerospace, marketing industries, as well as the U.S. Federal Government. As CIO, Melissa leads all IT-focused initiatives across CSI Companies.
Kate Mays joined The CSI Companies in June 2006. As a sales director for CSI’s healthcare staffing clients, she established trusted partnerships with health systems nationwide.
Prior to her leadership, Kate joined the expanding Healthcare IT division as its West Coast director, drawing on her comprehensive understanding of the clinical and technical needs of hospitals. Kate has continuously progressed through roles of increasing responsibility across the organization, eventually leading Healthcare IT as its President.
Alyssa Tillery serves as the Division President of CSI Healthcare IT. In this role, she is responsible for shaping strategies to meet the evolving workforce needs of healthcare organizations nationwide.
A highly collaborative leader, Alyssa draws from over a dozen years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry and her roles in operations, project management, and human resources to identify the unique opportunities in each client engagement and ensure stakeholder alignment.
A graduate of Augustana College with a degree in Biology, Pre-Medicine, and a focus in Biochemistry, Alyssa has devoted her professional career to the healthcare industry and has held roles spanning the client, consulting, and vendor sides of EMR implementations. Joining CSI in 2017 as Vice President of Professional Services, Alyssa partnered with clients to develop tailored solutions to business problems and oversee the strategic delivery of projects. Now as Division President, Alyssa aims to transform the world of work by fostering a nimble, innovative, curious, and inclusive environment for clients, consultants, and team members alike.
