CSI Connect was birthed after winning a global CEO challenge. The contest was to introduce an initiative that answers, “how to create new ways of doing business, how to close the economic divide, and how to celebrate diversity & inclusion.” Out of 10 co-ops, our initiative won! It was then mandated that the other companies implement our model. The impact will increase minority representation in the IT industry globally including Amsterdam, Japan, Europe, Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
To increase the minority representation within the field of technology by educating and exposing students in our underserved communities to tech careers, professional and leadership training, and real-world experience.
Provide these diverse students with meaningful and practical work experiences to complement their educational studies and enhance their academic experience. In addition, leverage the program to create a pipeline of diverse talent prepared to compete for key placements within CSI Companies.
Interns heard stories from CSI executives and other special guests about their road to success.
To learn and practice soft skills, interns attend professional leadership presentations presented by a certified life coach and D&I expert.
Health and wellbeing take priority at CSI. Interns participate in exercise sessions that focus on strengthening the mind and body.
Finance experts educate interns on the importance of credit and how to budget.
