at CSI?

Giving back is easy as pie. Last year, we hosted a school supply drive and collected more than 3,000 school supplies for Sadie T. Tillis Elementary School students and teachers. This year was a little different… and a lot more uncertain. But one thing hadn’t changed: the need for school supplies. So we ditched the drive and opted for a not-so-ordinary fundraiser. We asked our leaders if they would be up for getting pied for a good cause. And unanimously, they were! The 2020 Gate River Run National Championships 15k/5k was a tremendous success.  I’m so proud of everyone for participating, racing PR’s (personal records), some of you completing this distance for the first time, all of you battling the wind on the Hart bridge bravely, never giving up and running with heart! Congratulations to Kate Mays as the top CSI female finisher in a new PR time of 1:12 and Adam Bell as the top CSI male finisher in a new PR time of 1:06! Click for Complete race results. Team CSI Strong celebrated Valentine’s Day weekend in style – by taking to the streets of Atlantic and Neptune Beaches with 7,000 other runners in the fight to finish breast cancer! Race weekend options included a 5k, half marathon, marathon and half marathon team relay – all proceeds and efforts going towards the Donna Foundation to finish breast cancer. Participants really did feel the love and share the joy out on the 13.1 mile or 26.2 mile beaches area course Saturday and Sunday, February 8-9. They trained hard in Run Club and their results showed!
